Avianca has announced the launch of a new direct route between Guatemala City and Miami, starting May 10, 2025. This new connection will facilitate travel between the two destinations and boost tourism, trade, and business opportunities between Guatemala and the United States.
The route will operate a daily flight using Airbus A320 aircraft, with a capacity for 180 passengers, offering more than 2,500 weekly seats on both routes.

Schedules:
- Departure from Guatemala City at 3:25 PM — Arrival in Miami at 8:10 PM
- Departure from Miami at 1:45 PM — Arrival in Guatemala City at 2:25 PM
With this new route, Avianca reinforces its commitment to air connectivity in the region. According to Rolando Damas, Avianca’s Sales Director for North America, Central America, Europe, and the Caribbean, this operation will not only facilitate access to key destinations but will also promote tourism and trade exchange between Guatemala and the United States.
