Porter Airlines has updated its summer 2025 flight schedule with a significant increase in capacity and the addition of new strategic routes. During this season, 80% of its network will focus on domestic flights, a 5% increase over the originally planned figure. Despite some targeted reductions in U.S. markets, the airline will expand its U.S. presence by 25% compared to the previous summer.
To support this expansion, Porter will add 10 Embraer E195-E2 aircraft compared to 2024, bringing its total fleet of these modern jets to 44, as part of an order for up to 100 units. These will operate alongside the regional fleet of 29 De Havilland Dash 8-400 aircraft.
Kevin Jackson, President of Porter Airlines, emphasized the importance of this growth: “Our goal is to fly where our customers want to travel, and right now, Canada is on many people’s lists.”
