Brazil’s GOL Linhas Aéreas resumed its nonstop flights between Sao Paulo and Caracas this Tuesday, marking its return to the Venezuelan market after nearly a decade.
Flight Frequencies and Schedules
The route will operate with four weekly flights (Tuesday, Thursday, Saturday, and Sunday) using Boeing 737 MAX 8 aircraft, which can accommodate 176 passengers.
Flights will depart Sao Paulo at 17:05, arriving in Caracas at 22:10 (local time). From Venezuela’s main airport, the return flights will take off at 23:40, landing in Guarulhos at 06:55 the following day (local time).

Connectivity Within Brazil and Neighboring Countries
This service will provide travelers with seamless connections through Guarulhos Airport to over 30 destinations across Brazil, as well as to cities in neighboring countries such as Montevideo, Buenos Aires, Asuncion, and Santa Cruz de la Sierra.
Return to Venezuela
GOL suspended its flights to Venezuela in 2016 due to the inability to repatriate funds caused by the Venezuelan government’s strict currency controls. This comeback represents a significant step in expanding its route network across South America.
