Iberia Mantenimiento has opened a call for specialists from other areas of the vehicle maintenance field who wish to transition into the aviation sector. The initiative features a pioneering course, tailored to the company’s needs, designed to train students enrolled in intermediate-level Vocational Education and Training (VET) programs in Transport and Vehicle Maintenance and Automotive. The goal: to transform them into Aircraft Engine Maintenance Technicians.
Selected candidates will join Iberia’s Engine Workshop with a permanent contract, a facility spanning over 35,000 square meters. There, they will undergo a 500-hour theoretical and practical training cycle, combining classroom learning with hands-on training on real engines.

Training at an International Benchmark Center
The practical training will take place at Iberia Maintenance’s facilities in La Muñoza, home to the engine workshop and test bench. This complex employs nearly 700 professionals and services over 200 turbines annually for a portfolio of more than 100 international clients.
Iberia Mantenimiento has established itself as a global benchmark for next-generation engines, making this training a privileged gateway into a highly specialized industry.
Record-Breaking Vocational Training Programs
This new course adds to the Vocational Training program Iberia Mantenimiento has been running since 2018. In the 2024-2025 academic year alone, a total of 209 students completed internships in the Maintenance areas at La Muñoza, doubling the figure recorded in the previous 2022-2023 academic year.
