A Strategic Operation with the Airbus A321XLR
For this route, Aer Lingus will utilize its Airbus A321XLR, the longest-range single-aisle aircraft in its fleet. The A321XLR is configured with 184 seats across two classes:
- 16 seats in Business Class
- 168 seats in Economy Class
The selection of the A321XLR aligns with the strategy of airlines seeking to open or test long-haul markets with lower operating costs compared to wide-body aircraft.
Competitive Advantage
The direct connection between Dublin and Bridgetown eliminates the need for layovers in European or North American hubs. This provides a clear competitive advantage for both leisure travelers and the premium vacation segment.
