Air France is once again betting big on the Paris–New York axis, one of the most strategic and competitive corridors in global commercial aviation. During the boreal summer of 2026, the French carrier will offer up to 11 daily flights between Paris-Charles de Gaulle (CDG) and the New York metropolitan area. This move consolidates its position in the North Atlantic while raising the product standard for both corporate and high-value-added travelers.
A Carefully Segmented Deployment of Capacity
The reinforced service will be distributed across the two major airports in the New York area:
Paris-CDG – New York JFK:
- Air France will operate up to six daily flights of its own to John F. Kennedy.
- Premium Equipment: Four of these flights will be operated by Boeing 777-300ER aircraft equipped with La Première, the airline’s most exclusive product.
- Strategic Partnership: This offer is supplemented by three daily flights operated by Delta Air Lines, Air France’s partner in the transatlantic joint venture, which expands the group’s commercial and operational reach.

Paris-CDG – Newark Liberty:
The major news comes at Newark, where Air France will increase from one to two daily frequencies starting June 1, 2026.
- Modern Fleet: The route will be serviced by Airbus A350-900 aircraft featuring the airline’s latest cabins, including the new Business Class with sliding doors—a key element in the battle for premium corporate passengers.
- Flexibility: According to the company, this second frequency provides unprecedented flexibility for both business and leisure travel in a market where schedules and connectivity are the ultimate differentiators.
Schedules Designed to Maximize Connectivity and Productivity
Air France has detailed the local times for the Newark operations, providing essential data for corporate planning and the optimization of connections at Paris-Charles de Gaulle:
Flight Number Departure Arrival Frequency
- AF0062 Paris 12:30 Newark 14:45 Same day
AF0063 Newark 17:05 Paris 06:10 Next day
- AF0064 Paris 19:45 Newark 22:00 Same day
AF0065 Newark 23:55 Paris 13:10 Next day
This structure covers both daytime and nighttime departures, aligning with classic transatlantic traffic patterns.
High-Speed Wi-Fi: Starlink as a Competitive Advantage
Another strategic pillar of this announcement is the progressive implementation of free high-speed Wi-Fi powered by Starlink. Air France is positioning itself as the first major European airline to offer this service onboard, aiming to extend it to its entire fleet by the end of the year. For the corporate traveler, stable, high-capacity connectivity is no longer an “extra” but a deciding factor in choosing a carrier.
Special New York – Nice Flights: Cannes as a Catalyst
Reflecting its long-standing connection to the film and advertising industries, Air France will once again operate special flights between New York-JFK and Nice for the Cannes Lions Festival in June 2026.
Dates and Operations:
- June 20 and 21: Flight AF043, JFK 16:30 – Nice 10:35 (Next day).
- June 25 and 26: Flight AF042, Nice 12:00 – JFK 15:00 (Same day).
These flights will be operated with Boeing 777-300ER aircraft, bolstering the premium offering for an event with a high concentration of executive and creative travelers. Notably, the JFK–Nice route already features a daily service from Delta Air Lines marketed under a codeshare agreement, further highlighting the strength of the joint venture in the group’s transatlantic strategy.
This announcement confirms a decisive commitment to New York as a key market and to premium segmentation as the primary driver of growth.
