LATAM Airlines has officially upgraded its rating from three to four stars in the prestigious Skytrax World Airline Star Rating. This milestone positions the company as the only operator in Latin American history to achieve this global standard of quality and service.

A Global Standard of Excellence in the Region

The certification granted by Skytrax, an independent international air transport rating organization dedicated to evaluating the passenger experience, is based on on-site audits conducted by industry experts. These specialists analyze operations under real-world conditions, assessing service consistency both on the ground and in-flight.

Achieving a four-star rating implies the fulfillment of high and sustained standards over time. LATAM Airlines’ evaluation included a comprehensive review of:

  • Airport Processes: Check-in, boarding procedures, and ground staff assistance.
  • Lounge Experience: Quality and consistency of services offered in VIP lounges.
  • In-flight Service: Crew-passenger interaction and overall cabin comfort.

“This rating validates a consistent experience. Our vision is to elevate every journey and compete at the highest global level,” stated Paulo Miranda, Vice President of Customers at LATAM.

  • Technology: 18-inch High Definition (HD) screens and USB charging ports.
  • LATAM Play: An entertainment system with an extensive catalog of movies and series available on all flights via personal devices.

Additionally, the airline has integrated onboard Wi-Fi services, allowing passengers to maintain internet navigation throughout their flights.
