LATAM Airlines reported solid growth during April 2026, successfully transporting 6.9 million passengers. This 2.8% increase compared to the same period last year underscores the resilience and strategic expansion of the group’s network across the region and globally.
Capacity Expansion and Global Connectivity
During the fourth month of the year, the LATAM group increased its Consolidated Capacity, measured in Available Seat Kilometers (ASK), by 8.3% versus April 2025. This operational development was primarily driven by three key fronts:
- International Operations: Recorded a significant uptick of 11.6%.
- Affiliates: Domestic operations in Chile, Colombia, Ecuador, and Peru grew by 6.0%.
- Brazilian Market: LATAM Airlines Brazil increased its offering by 4.0%.

Passenger Traffic Dynamics and Load Factor
Consolidated Traffic, measured in Revenue Passenger Kilometers (RPK), showed positive performance with a 7.0% increase. This growth was reflected across all of the company’s business segments:

- International: Led growth with a 10.8% rise.
- Domestic (Chile, Colombia, Ecuador, and Peru): Reported a 3.3% increase.
- Brazil: The Brazilian domestic market grew by 2.0%.
Furthermore, the Load Factor stood at 82.3%. While this represents a slight reduction of 1.1 percentage points compared to the previous year, group management considers these figures to remain at healthy levels for the industry.
Strong Performance in the Cargo Segment
The group’s cargo unit also showed upward figures in April. Capacity, measured in Available Tonne Kilometers (ATK), reached 730 million, equivalent to a 5.2% year-on-year increase.
In terms of transported volume, LATAM moved a total of 91,000 tons of cargo during the month, consolidating its position as a strategic player for foreign trade in the region.
This monthly balance reaffirms LATAM Group’s growth trend, supported by efficient management of international capacity and a stabilization of domestic traffic in its primary markets.
