Eurowings Expands Middle East Network With Nonstop Flights to Baghdad

German carrier Eurowings will significantly bolster its international connectivity during the winter 2026 schedule, highlighted by the addition of Baghdad to its route map and the introduction of its new Premium BIZ Seat on select services.

Strategic Route Expansion for Winter 2026

As part of its winter 2026 expansion plan, Eurowings will widen its operating footprint across six key German bases: Berlin, Düsseldorf, Cologne/Bonn, Hamburg, Hanover, and Stuttgart.

These added frequencies and new destinations will connect the German gateways with Northern and Southern Europe, the Canary Islands, Egypt, and the Middle East.

New Baghdad Service and Middle East Consolidation

For the 2026/2027 winter season, the airline will roll out an extensive schedule to the Middle East, highlighted by the launch of scheduled service to Iraq’s capital:

Airbus A320neo Debuts New Premium BIZ Seat

Alongside the network expansion, the carrier will elevate its onboard premium experience starting December 1, 2026, with the entry into service of the Premium BIZ Seat.

The new hard product will be fitted across all Dubai flights, as well as on selected high-demand routes to London Heathrow, Palma de Mallorca, and Malaga.
