American Airlines announces nonstop flights from Miami to Tel Aviv and Paramaribo.

American Airlines announced on Tuesday two new non-stop international routes from Miami airport to Tel Aviv and Paramaribo, Suriname, starting this summer.

The airline is also introducing two new domestic routes from the Miami hub to Little Rock, Arkansas and Portland, Maine, which will operate from June 5 through August 16.

Flights between Miami and Tel Aviv will begin June 4 and will operate three weekly frequencies on a Boeing 777-200.

Starting July 1, American will also offer nonstop service to Paramaribo. Flights will be operated five times a week on Airbus A319 aircraft.

“American has always been the biggest and best in Miami, with more flights to more locations than any other carrier, and as demand picks up, we will be even bigger and better than ever. Our new service to Tel Aviv and Paramaribo are the beginning of further growth in Miami, and as the city grows and expands, American will do the same,” said Brian Znotins, American’s vice president of network planning.
