Norse Atlantic Airways signs agreement 9 Boeing 787 aircraft.
Norse Atlantic Airways, the new airline created by Bjørn Kjos, founder and former CEO of Norwegian, announced Monday that it has signed lease agreements with AerCap Holdings for the lease of six Boeing 787-9s and three Boeing 787-8s. The nine aircraft are powered by Rolls Royce Trent 1000 engines and are scheduled for delivery this year.
Norwegian-based Norse Atlantic Airways plans to launch low-cost long-haul services, connecting major cities in Europe and the United States.
