Viva inaugurates its flights between Medellin and Sao Paulo
Continuing with its ambitious international expansion plan, Viva inaugurated this Wednesday its flights between Medellín (Colombia) and Sao Paulo (Brazil), becoming the first airline to directly connect both cities.
The route will be operated with Airbus A320 aircraft three times a week: From Medellin on Monday, Wednesday and Saturday, and from Sao Paulo on Tuesday, Thursday and Sunday. Tickets can be purchased from USD 289 round trip.

Entering Brazil represents one more step for our company and a commitment to all South Americans so that they can fly more and to more destinations, paying less”, assured Francisco Lalinde, Vice President of Operations at Viva.
With this new destination, the Viva network adds 45 domestic routes in Colombia and Peru, and 13 international routes to countries such as the United States, Mexico, Peru, the Dominican Republic, Argentina and Brazil.
