Copa Airlines inaugurated this Thursday its new route between Panama City and Barcelona, becoming the fourth destination that the airline operates in Venezuela.
The route will operate three weekly frequencies (Mondays, Thursdays and Saturdays) in Boeing 737-700 aircraft with a capacity for 126 passengers.

The flights will leave Panama City at 09:42, landing in Barcelona at 13:23. From the José Antonio Anzoátegui Airport they will take off at 15:07, arriving in Tocumen at 16:46.
Pedro Heilbron, executive president of Copa Airlines, stated that “air connectivity is essential for economic development and social progress in our region, which is why we will continue to grow towards new destinations and collaborate with the authorities, businessmen and tourism associations to continue promoting the commercial and tourist activity between the different cities we serve”.
The inauguration of this new route consolidates Copa Airlines and Panama as the airline and the most relevant and important international connection point of Venezuela with the rest of the continent, operating 33 weekly frequencies from 4 destinations: Caracas with 3 daily flights, Valencia 5 weekly frequencies, Maracaibo with 4 weekly frequencies, and now, Barcelona with 3 weekly frequencies through the Hub of the Americas, located at the Tocumen International Airport in Panama.
