Ethiopian Airlines announced that it is modifying an order for a fourth Airbus A350-900 to the largest variant of the Family, the A350-1000, becoming the first operator in Africa of the aircraft.
The airline has already ordered 22 A350-900s, of which 16 aircraft have been delivered. With this announcement, the order book to be delivered remains at four A350-1000 and two A350-900.

The A350-1000 will increase the capacity of the East African airline and add to its modern wide-body fleet.
