Iberia takes Christmas on board its flights
The Spanish airline Iberia has designed a series of special actions to surprise its passengers during Christmas, with small in-flight gifts to celebrate the holidays.
On all flights the airline will offer nougat and marzipan to its customers.
In addition, on long-haul flights, a special menu has been designed for passengers traveling in the Business cabin with a Christmas twist, including roasted turkey breast and braised thigh with Christmas stuffing over cranberry demi-glace. Along with this main course, a chocolate and caramelized pineapple hemisphere will be offered as dessert, and in Premium Economy and Economy a chocolate mousse with Christmas spice crumble.
On medium-haul flights, Business customers can enjoy a creamy vanilla cake with a raspberry jelly layer on a spiced gingerbread base.
In addition, to celebrate the arrival of the New Year, people traveling from Latin America to Madrid on December 31 will be offered grapes and champagne to toast to 2024.

On January 6, on the occasion of the Three Kings Day holiday, Iberia will distribute the traditional Three Kings cake with 230,000 Avios hidden inside, which will be distributed on long-haul flights taking off that day from Madrid and in the Business cabins of the rest of the flights. There will be a special prize of 100,000 Avios, a second prize of 50,000 Avios and 80 prizes of 1,000 Avios.
For the fourth consecutive year, Iberia launches the video call with the Three Wise Men, so that children can meet and talk to them.

The video call to the Three Wise Men has already become a Christmas tradition in which they attend to all children, and not so children, whom they greet personally, tell them about their hobbies, and encourage them to fulfill their resolutions in this new year.
New gastrobar menu
The last month of the year also brings important news in the gastrobar service with the launch of a new menu on board. One of the most popular items with customers, the croque Monsieur, has been brought back, and a hot dog with brioche bread heated in the oven for 15 minutes and served with ketchup and mustard has been added.
In addition, new salty snacks such as sea potatoes and pip bread free of the 14 main allergens have been added.
As for the sweets menu, a new chocolate muffin, Lotus cookies, Pancracio chocolate and PLAYin Choc organic chocolate for the little ones. Also during the Christmas season, a very special chocolate and cherry-flavored Cookie will be offered.
New features in the pre-order service
Starting this December, customers can place their pre-order orders 12 hours in advance if the flight departs from Madrid and 18 hours in advance if the flight departs from any other city. The new winter menu incorporates the Coronation sandwich with turkey and curry, new chicken salads with grapefruit and mango sauce, or goat cheese and apple. Entrees include pasta with mushroom sauce and meat lasagna. For dessert, the airline offers its customers a new chocolate cake with a raspberry topping.
More entertainment on board
Christmas is also coming to the in-flight entertainment system with a special category called ‘It’s already Christmas’ where customers can enjoy Christmas classics such as Love Actually, The Grinch or Home Alone, and TV premieres such as Dolly Parton’s Mountain Magic Christmas, Inside M&S At Christmas or Shaun the Sheep: The Flight Before Christmas.
The in-flight entertainment system also incorporates several new features, including the premiere of the films Barbie, Mystery in Venice, Mission Impossible: Deadly Sentence – Part I, Americanish, The Equalizer 3, Gran Turismo, Adult Life and My Big Fat Greek Wedding 3.
The film program is completed with the Spanish films Mi soledad tiene alas and Te estoy amando locamente and the Latin American premieres El fantasma and Fragmentada.
