Spirit Airlines has announced a significant expansion of its flight network, resuming services and adding new routes to Latin America and the Caribbean for spring and summer 2025.

Starting in April, the low-cost carrier will implement a series of new routes and strategic resumptions to benefit travelers.

  • Houston — Tegucigalpa (Palmerola): 4 weekly flights starting April 9, 2025.
  • New Orleans — Tegucigalpa (Palmerola): 2 weekly flights starting May 8, 2025.
  • Detroit — Punta Cana (Dominican Republic): 3 weekly flights starting June 12, 2025.
  • Detroit — San Juan (Puerto Rico): 4 weekly flights starting June 12, 2025.

  • Houston — Guatemala City: 4 weekly flights starting June 12, 2025.

  • Orlando — Santo Domingo (Dominican Republic): 3 weekly flights starting June 12, 2025.
  • Orlando — Montego Bay (Jamaica): 1 weekly flight starting June 14, 2025.
  • Fort Lauderdale — Bucaramanga (Colombia): 2 weekly flights starting August 15, 2025.
  • Fort Lauderdale — Lima (Peru): 1 weekly flight starting August 16, 2025.
