Indonesian rescue teams on Tuesday found one of the black boxes from the Sriwajaya Air plane that crashed into the sea last Saturday a few minutes after taking off from Jakarta airport with 62 people on board.

The head of the Indonesian Armed Forces, Hadi Tjahanto, has confirmed that the troops, made up of 160 divers, have found one of the black boxes of the Boeing 737-500, which will help determine the causes of the accident, rtve said.
The flight data recorder has been found in an area between the islands of Laki and Lancang and will now be moved to the ground for inclusion in the investigations.
