Delta resumed flights between Atlanta and Rio de Janeiro
Delta Air Lines resumed its seasonal route between Atlanta and Rio de Janeiro’s Galeão International Airport on Saturday (Dec. 17).
The service between the two cities will operate one daily flight on Boeing 767-300 aircraft, featuring Delta One, Delta Comfort+ and Main Cabin services.

Delta also launched a second daily seasonal flight between Atlanta and Sao Paulo’s Guarulhos International Airport on Dec. 17, operating with Airbus A330 aircraft.
“Travelers yearn to reconnect and discover more of the places they want to visit, and Delta is pleased to facilitate that need and increase our service between the United States and Brazil,” said Danillo Barbizan, Delta Air Lines Sales Manager for Brazil.
With the expanded service, Delta offers 28 weekly flights between the U.S. and Brazil, providing customers with convenient connection opportunities to destinations around the world through its hubs at Atlanta and New York JFK and through its partnership with LATAM.
