Copa Airlines Resumes Flights to Santiago de los Caballeros

Copa Airlines resumed flights Tuesday between Panama City and Santiago de los Caballeros, its third destination in the Dominican Republic, after Santo Domingo and Punta Cana.

“The resumption of these operations marks an important and long-awaited return by once again connecting this Dominican city with our network. This resumption of flights not only strengthens ties between Panama and the Dominican Republic, but also promotes tourism, culture and business between our nations. We are excited to continue to be the bridge that connects our passengers to new experiences and opportunities in the Caribbean,” said Karen Nanne, Copa Airlines regional sales manager for Central America and the Caribbean.

The route will operate three weekly flights (Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday) in Boeing 737-700 aircraft with capacity for 126 passengers: 12 in Business Class and 114 in Economy.

Flights will depart Panama at 11:30 a.m., arriving in Santiago de los Caballeros at 2:55 p.m. (local time). From Cibao International Airport they will take off at 15:50, landing in Tocumen at 17:36 (local time).
