Colombia recorded an outstanding performance in air mobility during the first ten months of 2024, reaching a total of 46,499,000 passengers, representing an increase of 15.9% compared to the same period in 2023.
On an annual basis, between November 2023 and October 2024, the country transported 55,850,000 passengers, with a growth of 15.44% over the previous year. In absolute terms, this is equivalent to 6,387,000 additional passengers, a figure that reflects Colombia’s consolidation as a regional benchmark in air connectivity.

The cargo segment also shows a positive trend. During the last twelve months, 933,079 tons were mobilized, marking an increase of 8.4%. In the first ten months of 2024, airlines operating in the country transported 775,515 tons, an increase of 9% (equivalent to an additional 63,972 tons) compared to the same period in 2023.
The month of October 2024 was particularly noteworthy, with a 10.5% growth in cargo transportation, equivalent to 8,092 additional tons compared to October 2023.
The dynamism of the air sector in Colombia is a reflection of the joint effort between airlines and authorities to optimize national and international connectivity.
