An Ambitious Strategy to Reconnect with Europe

The relaunch of the Brussels route is part of Cathay Pacific’s broader expansion in Europe. During the peak summer season, the airline will operate nearly 100 round-trip flights per week between Hong Kong and various European cities. This network includes five daily flights to London, as well as daily services to Amsterdam, Frankfurt, Manchester, Milan, Paris, and Zurich. The airline also maintains four weekly flights to Barcelona, Madrid, Munich, and Rome (the latter two launched recently in June of this year), further strengthening its presence on the continent.

Lavinia Lau, Chief Customer and Commercial Officer of Cathay Pacific, stated: “We are thrilled to return to Brussels, directly connecting our hub with one of Europe’s most important political centers and a tourist destination rich in history and culture. The new service’s schedule is designed to ensure passengers arrive well-rested with a full day ahead, whether traveling to Brussels or Hong Kong.”

Global Connectivity from Hong Kong

Passengers flying from Europe not only gain access to Hong Kong but also to a global network of over 100 destinations served by Cathay Pacific and its low-cost subsidiary, HK Express. Within mainland China alone, the group offers flights to 23 cities.

The return of Cathay Pacific’s Hong Kong–Brussels flights not only strengthens ties between Asia and Europe but also expands options for travelers seeking comfort, efficiency, and global connectivity.
