JetBlue confirmed the launch of a new daily nonstop service between John F. Kennedy International Airport (JFK) in New York and Cleveland Hopkins International Airport, significantly expanding travel options for passengers in Northeast Ohio. Operations will begin on March 30, 2026, with tickets available starting today.
A Key New Connection for Northeast Ohio
The addition of this route strengthens JetBlue’s presence in Cleveland, which already offers direct flights to Boston, another key city for the airline. With this expansion, travelers will gain direct access to New York and a broader network of connections from JFK.
From that airport, customers can connect to dozens of destinations via onward flights, especially to Florida, the Caribbean, and Latin America, as well as having access to daytime service to London Heathrow and flights operated by JetBlue’s global airline partners.
Dave Jehn, Vice President of Network Planning and Airline Alliances at JetBlue, highlighted the strategic importance of this announcement for the region: “New York is not only a major destination and business hub, but it now serves as another JetBlue gateway for residents of Cleveland and Northeast Ohio. With this new route, customers can choose what best fits their needs, unlocking even more access to JetBlue’s growing leisure network.”

Extensive Destination Network from JFK
JetBlue’s flight schedule from New York offers access to high-demand destinations such as Orlando, Fort Lauderdale, San Juan, Punta Cana, Aruba, and Cancun, among many others. The company defines itself as New York’s Hometown Airline® and is also the largest airline between JFK and Latin America, the Caribbean, and Florida, as well as offering the most departures from that airport to California.
Operations with Airbus A220 and Onboard Services
Flights between New York and Cleveland will be operated using Airbus A220 aircraft, featuring JetBlue’s signature service. Passengers will enjoy fast, free, and unlimited Fly-Fi, individual seatback entertainment screens, and complimentary snacks and beverages, all part of the airline’s value proposition.
Promotional Launch Fares
To celebrate the announcement, JetBlue put tickets on sale starting today through its official website. Promotional launch fares include prices starting at $49 one-way, subject to availability.
With this new route, JetBlue continues to strengthen its connectivity strategy from New York and solidifies Cleveland as an increasingly important point within its airline network.
