JetBlue fly between New York and Guyana starting in December.
JetBlue announced Tuesday the launch of a new nonstop service between New York’s John F. Kennedy International Airport and Georgetown’s Cheddi Jagan International Airport, Guyana, beginning December 11, 2020.

The route will be operated with Airbus A321neo aircraft and will initially have four weekly frequencies.
The airline initially announced this new route in September 2019, but temporarily halted the sale and adjusted the launch schedule in response to changes in global travel demand.

“The service to Guyana introduces a diverse and underserved destination on JetBlue’s route map, and a very important one for New York City. Our nonstop service will benefit a variety of travelers and provide our industry-leading experience to travelers this vacation season,” said Andrea Lusso, vice president of route planning.
Guyana becomes the fourth country in South America JetBlue serves and grows the airline’s presence in the Caribbean and Latin America to nearly 40 destinations.
