Brazil’s Azul takes delivery of its first Airbus A350-900
Brazil’s Azul Linhas Aéreas took delivery of the first of four Airbus A350-900 aircraft, named “50 também é Azul”.
The aircraft landed at Confins airport, in Minas Gerais, at 16:45 local time, coming from Tarbes, France.

The 4.9-year-old aircraft was first delivered to Hong Kong Airlines on November 29, 2017.
According to the airline, two A350s will join its fleet this year and replace a pair of A330-200s on international routes
“The Airbus A350 is one of the most modern aircraft available today, which will bring much more comfort to our customers and more efficiency in terms of fuel consumption and CO2 emissions, leading to a reduction in the cost per seat compared to A330ceo aircraft, which currently operate long-haul flights,” commented John Rodgerson, president of Azul.
