Coinciding with Easter, it has been decided to bring forward the start of the summer season, which in the airline industry formally begins in early April. Thus, Iberia customers will have at their disposal during these days and until October 30 flights to Tirana, the capital of Albania, to the Croatian cities of Dubrovnik, Zagreb, to the Sicilian city of Catania and to Ponta Delgada in the Azores Islands.

“Easter is one of the periods of the year where the greatest number of trips are concentrated in a few days and that is why we wanted to expand the supply of seats to the most popular destinations, also offering the possibility for our customers to travel to new destinations scheduled for the summer season,” said María Jesús Lopéz Solas, Iberia’s commercial director.

In Spain, the preferred destination continues to be the Canary Islands, where Iberia Express is adding 96 flights and more than 16,900 additional seats. In the Balearic Islands, the schedule increased by 12% to nearly 50,000 seats, with 18 additional flights concentrated in Mallorca and Menorca.
