Cubana de Aviación resumes flights between Havana and Panama

Cubana de Aviación resumed non-stop charter flights between Havana’s José Martí International Airport and Panama City on Monday, thus strengthening air connectivity between the two countries.

The route will operate two flights per week (Monday and Friday) in Tupolev 204 aircraft, with capacity for 176 passengers, offering a total of 704 seats per week between the two routes, according to Tocumen Airport in a press release.

“This resumption of operations between Cuba and Panama represents an important step in strengthening the historical and cultural ties that unite our peoples,” said Tocumen International Airport General Manager Raffoul Arab.

Tocumen Airport is a regional hub that maintains direct routes to 87 destinations through 16 commercial airlines offering service to major cities in the Americas and Europe.
