American Airlines to Launch First-Ever Provisions by Admirals Club Lounge at Charlotte Airport
Starting in late summer 2025, American Airlines will take a decisive step in the evolution of its ground services with the debut of an innovative lounge at Charlotte Douglas International Airport: Provisions by Admirals ClubSM, a pioneering space designed specifically for transit passengers who need comfort, speed, and efficiency.
Located in Terminal A near Gate A1, this lounge will be the first of its kind in American Airlines’ network. The concept directly addresses a growing demand among frequent travelers: the need for a place where they can pause briefly, recharge, and receive assistance without sacrificing time.
“This new concept offers the respite our customers need while traveling through one of our largest hubs,” said Heather Garboden, American’s Director of Customer Care. “Whether they need a quick snack or help with their itinerary, they’ll find it at Provisions by Admirals Club.”
What Does Provisions by Admirals Club Offer?

The lounge will feature on-site representatives providing individualized attention and travel assistance, allowing passengers to resolve questions or issues quickly without long waits.
Quick and Fresh Dining Options
The lounge will offer sandwiches, salads, fresh fruit, and a variety of snacks, including vegetarian options. This flexible approach caters to diverse dietary needs without compromising service speed.
A Design Optimized for Short Stays
The space will incorporate high-top tables and minimal furnishings, promoting smooth transit and efficient user turnover. It’s an experience tailored for those with limited time between connections, without sacrificing comfort.

Access: Who Can Enter?
Access to Provisions by Admirals ClubSM will follow the same policies as traditional Admirals Club lounges:
- Admirals Club members
- Qualified oneworld status passengers
- Citi® / AAdvantage® Executive World Elite Mastercard® holders
- Eligible AAdvantage® members on qualifying international flights
A One Day Pass can also be purchased for $79 or 7,900 AAdvantage® miles, valid for 24 hours.
