Dominican airline Arajet announced this Thursday a transformation of its service model with a new portfolio of fare bundles—Basic, Classic, Comfort, and Extra—designed to offer more benefits, transparent pricing, and an experience tailored to the needs of each traveler.

Free Check-In and More Accessible Fees

The company announced that check-in at the counter will be completely free, eliminating a charge that previously generated additional costs for passengers. Furthermore, it reduced the prices for checked baggage and additional luggage, with fixed rates and more weight allowed across the different categories.

Victor Pacheco, Founder and CEO of Arajet, emphasized that this renewal reflects the commitment to providing “the best value for our passengers’ money.” He explained, “We redesigned our bundles to simplify the purchase decision and enhance the end-to-end experience. We want every customer to feel their fare was made to measure, without complications.”

The new bundles present options designed for different user profiles:

Basic

Arajet’s most economical fare includes one personal item of up to 6 kg, ideal for those traveling with light luggage or seeking the most affordable option.

Classic

Designed for business travelers, the Classic bundle includes one personal item and one carry-on bag of up to 12 kg. It allows flight changes by paying only the fare difference plus an additional fee. It also includes seat selection, adding flexibility and comfort.

Comfort

Aimed at those traveling for leisure or holidays, this bundle offers one personal item of up to 6 kg and one checked bag of up to 23 kg, an increase from the previous 20 kg allowance. This improvement reflects Arajet’s intention to better adapt to the needs of tourists.

Extra

The most comprehensive option is designed for families and frequent travelers. It includes one personal item, one carry-on bag, and one checked bag, plus unlimited flight changes paying only the fare difference. It also offers seat selection and priority boarding access.

Enhanced Digital Comfort and Efficient Boarding

Among the operational updates, Arajet will implement group boarding to streamline the process and provide a more orderly experience. Passengers will also have access to customer service via WhatsApp, a more direct and efficient channel for resolving inquiries, modifications, or cancellations.

With these changes, Arajet reaffirms its purpose of offering a safe, comfortable, and personalized experience, maintaining its commitment to the efficiency and punctuality that characterize its mission of connecting the Americas from the Dominican Republic.
