Copa Airlines: No PCR test required for travel between Panama City and David.

Copa Airlines reported that for domestic flights between Panama City and David, province of Chiriqui, passengers are not required to present proof of Swab/PCR or negative antigen. In addition, he reiterated that it is mandatory to comply with the biosecurity measures established by the airline, following the recommendations of the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Panama, such as the mandatory use of masks, maintenance of physical distance in waiting lines and boarding rooms.

The airline currently maintains a daily frequency between the two Panamanian cities. Flight CM 0020, leaves Panama City at 12:01 p.m. and arrives in David at 1:13 p.m. The return flight, CM 0021, leaves David at 2:31 p.m. and arrives at 3:37 p.m. in Panama. For this flight, Copa Airlines operates a Boeing 737-800 aircraft with a capacity of 160 passengers, 16 in business class and 144 in the main cabin.

Copa Airlines recommends that its passengers perform web check-in from 24 hours before traveling, through its website or mobile application, to expedite the check-in process and limit contact between passengers and partners. In addition, it requests that passengers arrive at the airport of origin at least three hours before their flight, due to new security controls.
